Support my swim for youth mental health

I'm taking part in the LAP it UP swim challenge to raise awareness and funds for Live4Life’s mental health education and youth suicide prevention model.

Live4Life builds the capacity of young people to recognise, seek and offer help for mental health concerns and it also builds the capacity of the whole community to look after and support their young people.

It engages young people, school staff, parents, carers and the broader community in evidence-based mental health education.

Please support my LAP it UP swim challenge - your donation will help more young people to receive vital mental health education and will help save lives!

Thank you

Why I’m Lapping It Up This October

Saturday 4th Oct

This October I’m taking part in Lap It Up for Youth Mental Health, and for me it’s more than just time in the pool.

Water has always been a place where I reset. When life feels heavy, swimming reminds me to breathe, find my rhythm, and keep moving — one stroke at a time. It’s my way of clearing my head and finding some calm.

That’s why this challenge matters to me. It’s a chance to do something I love while raising awareness for young people who might be struggling below the surface. Every lap feels like a small promise — that mental health matters, and no one should feel like they’re swimming alone.

So this October, I’ll be lapping it up. For my own wellbeing, for my kids, for the youth in our community — and for every young person who needs the reminder that they are seen, valued, and not alone. 💧
