What's in it for you?
Grow Your Skills While Making a Difference
As a Community Ambassador, you’ll build confidence, develop teamwork and communication skills, and be part of a supportive group working together to raise awareness about youth mental health. It’s a great opportunity to learn how to contribute to something bigger than yourself—alongside others who care about making a positive impact in young people’s lives.
Exclusive Merch and Perks
Receive official LAP It UP merchandise and special recognition for your efforts. From t-shirts to promo posters, we ensure our ambassadors feel appreciated and valued.
Impactful Contribution
Make a tangible difference in promoting youth mental health. Your efforts will help raise funds and awareness that directly support vital mental health services and initiatives in regional and rural communities.
Enhanced CV
Stand out on university applications and job resumes. Your involvement as a Community Ambassador demonstrates your commitment to social responsibility and community involvement—a quality universities and employers highly value.
Personal Growth
Taking part as a Community Ambassador is a chance to grow your confidence, try new things, and explore ways to get involved in support of youth mental health. Whether it’s setting up a local swimming event or speaking in public about your reason for getting involved, this experience can help you develop skills that carry into all areas of life.
How can you help
Spread the word! Promote LAP It UP within your work, community group, or social circles.
Give LAP it UP a shout out at community events or work gatherings. Share posts on social media. Hang posters. And have some fun encouraging others to participate or donate.
Recruit participants! Get your friends, classmates, teachers or co-workers involved in registering for the event. The more participants we have, the greater the support we can provide to young people who need it.
Organise events! Plan and host mini-events, like group swim sessions or relays. Participating with others is a great way to get your laps up and check in on your mates.

READY TO DIVE IN?
Let us know below which community you're in as well as any other information that would be good to know and a member of our team will be in touch.
Community Ambassadors must be 18+ years old. Next year we are planning a dedicated School Ambassador program for those under the age of 18.
