Support my swim for youth mental health
I'm taking part in the LAP it UP swim challenge to raise awareness and funds for Live4Life’s mental health education and youth suicide prevention model.
As a medically retired teacher, due to the fact that I stopped a kid committing suidice and was nearly killed myself. I now live with extreme PTSD, anxiety, depression and am a forever changed human. I am trying hard to move on from my past but unforunately it has a way of haunting you. I would not wish this feeling on anyone and therefore I am pushing back at my triggers and attempting to do some good for others at the same time for motivation (as I have none). Please help me help others as well as myself.
Live4Life builds the capacity of young people to recognise, seek and offer help for mental health concerns and it also builds the capacity of the whole community to look after and support their young people.
It engages young people, school staff, parents, carers and the broader community in evidence-based mental health education.
Please support my LAP it UP swim challenge - your donation will help more young people to receive vital mental health education and will help save lives!
Thank you
