Hey everyone,
As many of you know, I recently suffered a serious knee injury. While the physical pain has been challenging, the mental struggle has been even tougher. It’s a reminder of how crucial mental health is, especially during difficult times.
That’s why I’m excited to announce that I’m joining the Lap It Up campaign to raise money for young people’s mental health. This cause is incredibly important to me, as I believe that mental well-being is just as vital as physical health.
I'm swimming laps to raise awareness and funds for Youth Live4Life’s mental health education and youth suicide prevention model (Live4Life).
Live4Life communities deliver Youth Mental Health First Aid training in schools and the wider community, help to lead conversations about mental health that reduce stigma, and promote young leaders as mental health ambassadors.
Throughout this journey, I’ll be sharing weekly updates on my progress and the impact we can make together. I’m setting a goal to raise $500 to support this essential initiative, and I would love your help in reaching it. - your donation can help to increase mental health knowledge among secondary school students, teachers, parents, carers and community members in rural and regional areas.
